Welcome to CSI’s new Research Intern!

The CSI Secretariat in Johannesburg would like to welcome Katherine Langer, who will be with us for the next three months doing research for our upcoming impact assessment.
She is currently completing dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Russian and East European Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her main substantive focus is on international issues such as sustainable development, democratization, minority rights and education policies, and para-states. Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Katherine worked for City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley. She also holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
